Bold Type Books
Type Media Center has entered into a new relationship with PublicAffairs, part of the Hachette Book Group, to drive the Bold Type Books publishing program forward. The editorial functions for Bold Type are moving into PublicAffairs, and the PublicAffairs editors will be able to acquire books for the Bold Type list for the first time. Additionally, Type Media Center would like to see the list open up to projects that develop at Type Media Center, encouraged, sponsored and boosted by the TMC Fellows. Those projects, which originate through the efforts of the TMC Fellows, will also be published by Bold Type Books with the full support of the PublicAffairs and Hachette publishing teams—including marketing, publicity, managing editorial, and sales.
